This course takes a new approach, focusing the content into easily digestible and relatable videos, with information you can start implementing right away. All videos are supported by easy to follow workbooks and exercises that bring the material to life, offering online students an experience of "live interaction" even though the videos are pre-recorded. The course also includes weekly live Q&As where students can have direct contact with their Instructor Amy Galper, and ask any questions they have.

You'll access the course through your Kajabi account you'll create at the time of purchase. When your transaction is complete, your login information will be emailed to you. Once you're logged in to Kajabi, you'll be able to access your 9 self-paced video lessons, the course workbook, and have access to all the bonus resources. Your instructor, Amy Galper, will also be hosting weekly live Q&A's to answer all your questions. There will also be a Facebook group and the opportunity to share comments within each lesson in Kajabi.

The course orientation and welcome video will outline the essential oils, base ingredients, blending tools, and you'll need for the course, as well as links to purchase. You will be asked to experience 24 essential oils during the course, along with various base ingredients in order to follow along in many of the lessons. We recommend setting aside anywhere between $200- $500 for supplies if you want to have them, but it's totally optional.

The Certification requirements are also self-paced. You can take your time, implement the knowledge, skills, and recipes you learn as you go, and watch and re-watch as many times as you want.

As you're ready to dive into each lesson, set aside about 5-10 hours per lesson to watch the video, complete the accompanying workbook pages, reflect on what you learn, and work on case studies and exam prep if you are working toward your Certification.

Of course, you can opt not to complete the homework, and also choose not to take the exam. If you take that option, you will gain the same education, knowledge and experience, but won't receive recognition as a Certified Level 2 Aromatherapist. You'll receive the exact same education, but without the official recognition of completing a professional level program.

Becoming a Certified Aromatherapist gives you credibility within the fast-growing field of Aromatherapy and the Clean Beauty industry. This designation demonstrates that you have worked hard, committed, and dedicated yourself to becoming a professional, and taking responsibility and care in the knowledge you have acquired. It shows to others that you have been officially recognized in your field, and that your knowledge can be trusted.

Upon completion of the course and certification requirements, students will receive a Level Two Certificate from the New York Institute of Aromatherapy. Amy Galper as well as the Institute have been approved as educational providers, and this Certificate meets the requirements and educational standards set by the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). Once Certified, students may join the NAHA as a "NAHA Certified Level 2 Aromatherapist®" and be eligible for all membership benefits.

Aromatherapy is not a licensed profession, and the field itself, its practice, and the making and selling of aromatherapy products, like cosmetics and beauty products, is unregulated in the United States. The educational standards of these professions are determined by the professional associations of each modality.

For Aromatherapists, the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists have set forth the educational standards required to be professionally certified in the industry. This program is approved by NAHA.
